ABOUT THE PAINTING
Sachuest Beach is known only as "Second Beach" to those familiar with the area. This can be confusing to some visitors since “First Beach” is actually just a nickname for “Easton’s Beach” and it is in Newport— while this Second is in nearby Middletown. That said, regardless of the confusing name, this is a great subject to paint. And it is also a favorite spot on the island of Aquidneck.
